Button sizes vary depending on the style of jacket and period but generally:
Jacket CF buttons: 2cm
Sleeve/ cuff buttons: 1.7cm
Pocket buttons: 1.5cm
Shoulder strap buttons: 1.5cm/ 1.7cm
Fly buttons: 1.5cm I will now order my buttons to these sizes, I have chosen stag horn buttons, historically correct to the style and period of the jacket. I have considered that they will be all different shades and shapes due to their natural material, though this would have been the same historically as well.
