When doing the sleeve, my tutor Graham noticed that by the side of my lapel the top fabric was quite wrinkled, when the facing was smooth. He thought it might be that I had pulled to hard on the cotton tape when doing the lapel, creating too much wrinkle. Where as I thought it was because I hadn't ironed it since stretching it over the canvas, so it hadn't shrunk back into position. So we took it over to the iron with some damp cloths and ironed it using a ham. The wrinkles came out, though I will wait to see if they comes back, though it seems at the moment its just where I hadn't ironed. Photo of ironed jacket:
Edited post: The wrinkles haven't come back so it seems it just needed an iron.
